A frame for life.
Sense of return.
Space, reconsidered.
Objects in dialogue.
Curated not decorated.

I see interiors as quiet stages for daily life: architecture sets the scene, but it is the person — and the pieces that reflect them — that bring it to life.

Each project begins with what resonates — the colors, textures, and objects that feel essential. Sometimes the starting point is a single piece — a painting, a table, a cherished object

I like shaping interiors that are composed yet living, inviting warmth and reflecting individuality.

Offices Paris 8e

Completed under the direction of architect Capucine de Cointet

The space is conceived as a clear and structured working environment, with controlled lines and fluid circulation. Wood is used as a unifying element, bringing warmth and continuity throughout. Targeted nterventions — custom elements, integrated lighting, and more expressive pieces — punctuate the space without disrupting its balance.

About

Amy Wood

create interiors that feel layered, engaging, and reflective of my clients’
lives. Based in Paris for over 25 years, I guide English-speaking clients
through the French market—from materials and finishes to sourcing
furnishings and lighting, both contemporary and vintage—while Frenchspeaking clients are equally welcome.

My background is in theatre direction and scenography, where I developed
a sensitivity to space, composition, and atmosphere. I later returned to
study interior design, then worked with Paris-based architects before
establishing my own practice.

Raised by inveterate antique hunters, I grew up surrounded by a mix of old
and new—noble materials, vintage lighting, and storied objects. That
influence continues to shape my work, where history and intention come
together in a composed, livable way.

Amy Wood

My process is rooted in what resonates: colors, textures, objects, and atmospheres that feel essential. Each project evolves to support how a space is used, creating rooms that are inviting, tailored, and attuned to their owners. I oversee everything from concept through procurement and installation, collaborating with local artisans, architects, and builders to ensure each element is thoughtfully chosen and constructed.

I welcome full-service design projects in Paris and across Europe, crafting interiors rich in detail, thoughtfully composed, and curated with characterful pieces that reflect each client’s vision.
